CHOW CHOW CHINESE BHEL

INGREDIENTS

Shyam's Chow Chow Noodles (100g), 1 cup Thinly Sliced Onions, 1 cup Thinly Sliced Green Bell Peppers, 1 cup Thinly Sliced Cabbage, ½ cup Chopped Scallions, ¼ cup Chopped Cilantro, 2 tbsp Peanut or Sesame Oil, ¼ cup Tomato Ketchup, ⅛ cup Sriracha Sauce more for more heat, 2 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce, 1 tbsp Non-Fruit Vinegar.

HOW TO COOK

  • Mix all sauce ingredients together and keep it aside.

  • Heat oil in a kadhai and fry Shyam's Chow Chow till golden brown and crispy.

  • Heat oil in a wok or a pan, sauté thinly sliced onions on high flame for couple of minutes making sure they are still crunchy, do not over cook it.

  • Sauté thinly sliced green bell pepper on high flame for couple of minutes making sure they are still crunchy, do not over cook it.

  • Sauté thinly sliced cabbage on high flame for couple of minutes making sure they are still crunchy, do not over cook it.

  • Add the sauce mix to sautéed veggies and mix it well.

  • Immediately add fried Shyam's Chow Chow noodles to the veggie and sauce mix.

  • Mix it very well. Add chopped scallions and cilantro.

  • Mix it very well. Add salt and pepper if needed. Serve it immediately.
